onward to His present and future grace
I can’t believe I missed the Ghostland Observatory show in Missoula on Tuesday. I was so excited about getting my socks knocked off. Galactic and Dick Cheney were in Whitefish
yesterday (at different venues). I heard through the grapevine that Galactic put on a better show. Stay tuned as I’m trying to get a copy of the soundboard from the evening.
Update: Haven’t found the sound board copy yet.
Canada is a great place. Arcade Fire was born out the Montreal region and has been bouncing around the states (not this year) finding themselves at the top of many “best of 2005″ lists. Guess what happened this year? …. Nothing yet, but I guess the band is in the process of making a new album. So this is a tribute to their work on their album. (Click on picture to see video)
And I guess a post wouldn’t be complete without a MuteMath video.

Is it one word or two words? I guess when Earthsuit called it quits in 2002, Paul Meany decided to keep trucking on. Now he is joined by Greg Hill (guitars), Darren King (drums/samples/programming), and Roy Mitchell-Cardenas (bass) in the adventure called Mutemath. I’ve heard and read that their sounds is a mix of Bjork / Police. The Earthsuit sound speaks to me the most and for those familiar its a very pleasant noise. They are currently touring with Van’s Warped tour and will be at Bonnaroo, Cornerstone (yes!), and Lollapalooza.
